Requirements:
This position requires a Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Solution Architect, System Engineer, Delivery Architect, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelors degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with MS Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
Job Description:
Responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (Iac) principles. Architect, develop, and implement solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Automate cloud deployments and ensure efficient, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. Architect and deploy Azure-based cloud infrastructure. Use knowledge of security best practices and Azure network architecture. Automate and streamline development and deployment processes in Azure, managing CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Iac tools. Implement security tools. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions. Modify and improve existing systems, educating teams on the implementation of new Azure platform and initiatives. Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based system based on recommended best practices. Maintain a deep understanding of the Azure platform including Azure Functions architecture, Web Application Firewall, API Management services, and REST API management and development. Research and recommend Azure PaaS application and networking services to support growth into the cloud. Build Azure infrastructure based on technical architecture design documents, adapting and modifying the designs as required. Document disaster recovery technical procedures for Azure applications. Create architectural diagrams and documentation for existing cloud hosted applications. Use of MS Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps, Azure PaaS, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Grafana, Jira, and PowerShell.
